Blind Creator Pre-Flight — Terms of Use and End User License Agreement

What Pre-Flight is

Pre-Flight checks a photo or short video before a creator posts it and reports each result in plain text as pass, fix, or uncertain. The checks are advisory. Pre-Flight never publishes anything, does not connect to Instagram or any other platform, and cannot post on your behalf. The decision about what to post, and the exact words of your alt text and descriptions, always remain yours: nothing is marked approved that you have not approved yourself.

The current build is a demonstration build. It works on example photos and videos, called takes, that are already stored on the Pre-Flight server. It has no upload feature, no accounts, and no sign-in. If a future build adds those, these terms will be updated and republished before that build is released.

License to use Pre-Flight (EULA)

Digital Dragons Inc grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Pre-Flight software — the web application and, when they are released, the iOS and Android apps — for your own use, in line with these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of Pre-Flight, and you may not reverse engineer or attempt to extract its source code, except where the law gives you that right.

Pre-Flight is licensed to you, not sold. Digital Dragons Inc and its licensors keep all rights in the software that these terms do not expressly grant you.

Your content and your words

Your media, your stated intent, and your words stay yours. Alt text and public descriptions are drafted from your own stated intent and the facts the checks verified; you edit them into your own voice and approve the exact text. Digital Dragons Inc claims no ownership of your content and does not use it to train AI systems. What Pre-Flight processes, where it goes, and how long anything is kept are described in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

• Use Pre-Flight only for checking media you have the right to check.
• Do not use Pre-Flight to interfere with the service, its servers, or the model services it calls, and do not try to gain access to parts of the service that are not public.
• Do not present a Pre-Flight result as a guarantee. A pass means the checks found nothing to flag; it is not a promise that a post is safe, lawful, or right for your audience.

Apple-specific terms

If you download or use Pre-Flight through Apple's App Store, the following additional terms apply in accordance with Apple's requirements:

• These terms are between you and Digital Dragons Inc only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Pre-Flight or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for Pre-Flight.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or third parties relating to Pre-Flight or your use of it.
• In the event of any failure of Pre-Flight to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
• Pre-Flight is licensed to you under Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA): Apple Standard EULA.

Google Play terms

If you download Pre-Flight through Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not responsible for Pre-Flight or its content, and it has no obligation to provide support for it; support is provided by Digital Dragons Inc through the support page.

Disclaimer of warranties

Pre-Flight is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components, or that a check result is complete or correct.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Digital Dragons Inc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Pre-Flight. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of goodwill, or any other intangible losses.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the updated terms will be published on this page with a new date before they take effect. Continuing to use Pre-Flight after an update takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
